• Trugain is applied topically to the scalp, usually twice daily.
• It typically takes several months of consistent use before results can be seen, and continued use is necessary to maintain any hair growth that has occurred.
• Wash your hands after applying minoxidil to avoid accidentally transferring it to other areas of your body.
• If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose.
• Trugain can be used in combination with other hair loss treatments, such as finasteride.

✔️ Indications of Trugain:

Minoxidil is prescribed to treat alopecia areata, and androgenic alopecia in both men and women, as well as to stabilize hair loss in people who have the condition.

✔️ Pharmacology of Trugain:

By enlarging blood vessels and suppressing androgen hormones to affect hair follicles, minoxidil strengthens hair growth by increasing oxygen, blood, and nutrient supply to the hair follicle. Following topical application, the typical intaglio scalp retains a normal of roughly 1.4% of the total connected measurements. By increasing the connected measurements, increasing the frequency of dosing, and decreasing the stratum corneum's obstruction work, topical Minoxidil retention is increased. The assimilation rate of the medication through the skin determines serum levels of Minoxidil and the effects of topical Minoxidil on the body. Approximately 95% of the sedate that was taken systemically is eliminated within 4 days of stopping topical dosing. The majority of how minoxidil and its metabolites are excreted is through the urine.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Trugain:

• The topical minoxidil solution should only be used on the outside and should only be applied to clean, dry hair and scalp.
• Start at the center of the affected area and spread the topical solution out to cover the entire area with 1 ml (7 sprays) of Minoxidil topical solution twice daily at 12-hour intervals.
• The total amount of application per day shouldn't be more than 2 ml.
• Before washing the scalp, the Minoxidil topical solution should be left on for about 4 hours for best results.
• To give the solution time to dry, the nighttime application should be done 2-4 hours before bed.
• Applying the topical minoxidil solution lightly rather than massaging the scalp is advised. To hasten the drying of the solution, avoid using a hair dryer as this could reduce its efficacy.
• Any type of hair oil should not be combined with a minoxidil topical solution.
• To reduce the risk of side effects and unwanted hair growth, the medication shouldn't be used more than twice per day, orally administered, or applied to any other parts of the body.
• Longer application times or more frequent use have no impact on hair growth.
• The patient should continue with the subsequent application of Minoxidil topical solution if they have missed any daily applications.
• If Minoxidil topical solution is applied with the fingertips, hands should be washed right away.
• Before there is evidence of hair growth, twice-daily applications of Minoxidil for 4 months or longer may be necessary, according to clinical experience.
• Minoxidil topical solution should be used for at least 45 days if not longer to stop hair loss.
• Selecting a specific strength of Minoxidil topical solution will depend on the level of hair loss or the type and extent of baldness.

✔️ Interaction of Trugain:

There are currently no known drug interactions associated with oral medications and the use of Train.

✔️ Contraindications of Trugain:

Trugain Topical Solution is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Minoxidil or any of the other ingredients in the formulations such as propylene glycol or ethanol.

✔️ Pregnancy & Lactation:

There are no adequate and well-controlled studies on pregnant women. So, it is wise to use Trugain according to your doctor’s advice.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings of Trugain:

Minoxidil topical solution is more likely to cause scalp irritation. If scalp irritation continues or worsens, the use of Minoxidil topical solution should be stopped.

Store in a cool & dry place, protected from light.
